Subscription Terms
Version: 1.0
Effective Date: July 2026
Purpose
These Subscription Terms govern the purchase, renewal, cancellation, and management of paid DriverProof subscriptions.
These Subscription Terms supplement the DriverProof Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, these Subscription Terms govern matters relating specifically to subscriptions and billing.
Subscription Requirement
Certain DriverProof features require an active paid subscription.
Users without an active subscription may have limited access to the Services as described in these Subscription Terms and the Data Retention & Record Integrity Policy.
Subscription Plans
DriverProof may offer one or more subscription plans, including monthly and annual billing options.
Available plans, pricing, included features, and billing intervals are displayed at the time of purchase and may change from time to time.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance through the applicable application marketplace or payment provider.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge your selected payment method for all applicable subscription fees, taxes, and other charges.
Automatic Renewal
Unless canceled before the end of the current billing period, subscriptions automatically renew for successive billing periods.
Renewals are processed using the payment method associated with the applicable app marketplace or payment provider.
Users are responsible for maintaining current payment information.
Pricing Changes
DriverProof may modify subscription pricing in the future.
Price changes apply prospectively and do not affect billing periods that have already been paid.
When required by applicable law or marketplace rules, advance notice of pricing changes will be provided before renewal.
Cancellation
Users may cancel their subscriptions at any time through the same marketplace or payment provider used to purchase the subscription.
Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not immediately terminate access to paid features.
Paid subscription benefits remain available through the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise required by law.
Expiration of Subscription
When a subscription expires:
Access to subscription-only features may end.
Inspection history may become read-only or otherwise limited.
Inspection records remain subject to the DriverProof Data Retention & Record Integrity Policy.
Users may restore subscription benefits by purchasing a new subscription, subject to applicable retention periods.
Expiration of a subscription does not automatically delete inspection records.
Record Preservation After Cancellation
DriverProof distinguishes between subscription status and record preservation.
Inspection records created during an active subscription remain preserved according to the Data Retention & Record Integrity Policy, regardless of whether the subscription is later canceled.
Preservation of records does not guarantee unlimited access after a subscription expires.
Archived Records
Following expiration of an active subscription, inspection records may transition from active storage to archived storage in accordance with the Data Retention & Record Integrity Policy.
Archived records may remain recoverable during the applicable retention period.
If records remain eligible for recovery, restoring access may require reactivation of an eligible subscription.
Once the published retention period expires, archived records may be permanently deleted.
Refunds
Subscription purchases are generally non-refundable except where:
Required by applicable law.
Required by the applicable application marketplace.
Expressly approved by DriverProof.
Requests for refunds should first be directed through the marketplace or payment processor through which the subscription was purchased.
Failed Payments
If a payment cannot be successfully processed:
Subscription renewal may fail.
Premium features may become unavailable.
Access may be reduced following any applicable grace period.
Inspection records remain subject to the applicable retention policy.
DriverProof may make reasonable attempts to process outstanding subscription payments through the payment provider.
Promotional Offers
DriverProof may occasionally provide:
Free trials.
Promotional pricing.
Discount codes.
Introductory offers.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers expire according to their published terms and automatically convert to the applicable standard subscription price if not canceled before the promotional period ends.
Marketplace Billing
Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized marketplaces remain subject to the billing policies and subscription management procedures of those marketplaces.
DriverProof does not control the billing systems operated by third-party marketplaces.
Taxes
Users are responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, duties, or governmental charges associated with their subscription, except where DriverProof is legally required to collect or remit such amounts.
Modifications to Subscription Services
DriverProof may modify subscription features, benefits, storage limits, or available functionality as the Services evolve.
Material reductions affecting active subscribers will be implemented in accordance with applicable law and marketplace requirements.
Changes to These Subscription Terms
DriverProof may update these Subscription Terms from time to time.
Material changes become effective upon publication or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Continued use of subscription services after revised terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Subscription Terms.
Contact
Questions regarding subscriptions, billing, renewals, or cancellations may be submitted through the DriverProof support resources available within the application or on the DriverProof website.
